Kleinfeld Paper

Has it really been over a month since my last post?  That is crazy!  Well, february was packed with designing new collections for Surtex, thinking up booth ideas and drawing drawing drawing!  On top of it all I had a terrible two weeks of computer problems with my apple-yes, apple!  I should share with you how terrible my experience was with the apple store near my house but I don't want to give them any more energy...lets just say 6 trips to the store, 2 weeks of no computer, crying, more crying and many martinis later, I am up and working and have backed everything up to a cloud.  Yes, my whole hard drive.  If you haven't done this yet, I recommend Carbonite.  It is so easy that I didn't believe it was backing up until I went to to restore a file.

Switching to happier topics....

It dawned on me that I never shared with you one of my exciting new clients!!  Back in August when I was in NYC, I spent a day at Kleinfelds with a handful of other designers. (Yes, the same Kleinfelds as the TV show "Say Yes to the Dress".) The store was closed to the public, we met the owners, got a full tour and were given free reign to explore the store with our cameras and sketchpads to get inspired to design invitations for Kleinfeld Paper!  It was an amazing day!  Hearing the history of the company, the owners, the building - totally inspiring!! Kleinfeld Paper has launched and if you haven't seen the site click here.  There are many online invitation companies out there, but few that offer letterpress and raised ink!

All my designs come in multiple colorways.  To view everything I have designed, click here, select "all wedding invitations", scroll to the bottom, select my name, all my designs will pop up.  I have to admit - being at the store made me want to get married again.  I saw some amazing dresses the second image ("touch of folk") would be my invite:)
