a little folk life @ Society6

I uploaded some more prints today at Society6.  A few from my collection "Folk Life and "Sweet Tooth".

I love the framed prints next to each other - great for a little girls room!

Lets face it - Blue and Brown will always look good together.  Actually anything with brown looks great!
Tomorrow - BIG announcement!  The secret I have been dying to share but have had to keep to myself!  And if you happen to already have been in a Michael's store...you may already know...

seeds & pods

I have a new obsession - seeds, pods and flowers after they bloom. I am looking for a good book with detailed illustrations.  Any recommendations?

I worked on some small paintings today to take a break from the computer.
Exploring and generating some ideas.

quilt market...introducing "Exotic Bohemian"

I am so excited to be able to share one of the secrets I have been keeping for the past few months...drum roll please...

This Saturday at The Quilt Market my newest fabric collection "Exotic Bohemian" is launching!  It will ship in May so there is a still a bit of a wait but at least I can share the news now!  Below are my favorite colorways.  Check out the Anthology website for more.

I won't be at Quilt Market but please do stop by and ask to see my collection.  I would love to hear what you think!

Do you remember this post?  It is of my inspiration board for "Bohemian Dreams".  The name changed but the inspiration stayed the same.  Can you see how my designs evolved from this?

pucci. beautiful pucci.

I love Pucci!  Definitely one of my top three favorite designers.
Love this collection for Spring/Summer 2012.
And how great is the middle dress (above) in all white (below).

black and white at Society6

I was busy this weekend filling my Society6 shop with some new patterns.  I am usually known for my color but I thought I would take a break and play with some black and white.  I am happy with them. Especially the 4 prints all together.  What do you think?

Happy Birthday Mary Blair

A little Friday afternoon treat.
Happy Birthday Mary Blair.

brush in hand

I haven't painted in awhile.  It is amazing how a paint brush can calm my nerves and easy my emotions.
Now I have to figure out what I am going to do with all these paintings?  I eventually turn them into allover prints for my rep but I think I can do something with the actual paintings. Any ideas?

I love chocolate.  The only thing better than chocolate is chocolate that comes in pretty packaging!

a few of my favorite things

My BFF was visiting last week and while I was playing "show & tell" with Budapest I started to notice details in buildings that I have never noticed.  Here are a few of my favorites.  This is why I love this city!

society6

I am very excited to announce the opening of my store at Society6.  You can buy my artwork in framed prints, stretched canvases, t-shirts, ipod-iphone-ipad cases, and laptop skins.  I am super excited.  I only have a few designs up at the moment but check back regularly as I will be posting more each week.  Talk about a great Christmas gift!

Two of my favorites are "sweetheart" (below) and "i heart spring".  I think they would be adorable as 2 framed prints next to each other in a little girls room.

thank you Steve Jobs

"Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someones else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma - which is living with the results of other people's thinking.  Don't let the noise of other's opinions drown out your own inner voice.  And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition.  They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary." -Steve Jobs
Thank you for giving me the tools that allow me to follow my dreams. May you rest peacefully.
