Nostalgia fabric collection available at Joann's!

It has been a little while since my last fabric collection. I changed manufacturers and have been busy designing new collections for David Textiles.  The new team is fantastic and I am really excited to tell you that now my fabric is available at Joann's! AND for all my Australian fans (and there seems to many) you can find my fabric at Spotlight! I am so excited about this!!

So, let me introduce you to my first collection with David Textiles called "Nostalgia"! Sounds a bit familiar, right?  A few weeks ago I told you about a scrapbooking collection that launched with GCD Studio under the same name.  Some of the patterns are the same and it is really cool to see them translate on two different materials - paper and fabric.  I believe with scrapbooking paper, your photos should stand out more than the paper.  So, I made the papers a bit softer.  With the fabric however, I wanted them to be bold and bright.  I am really excited about this and happy tell you all of this in stores NOW!

Peggy - I agree! I am excited to be in a store that most people in the USA can easily get to.

Josephine - Thank you! The grid is a great alternative to a solid. I call it a "no print" print :)

I go into Spotlight regularly hoping to find new collections of your design. I make half and full aprons in your matching fabric and everyone loves the fabric. I bought your Nostalgia fabric in lemon and aqua recently and made a beautiful tote bag for a friend. Now everyone who sees the fabric wants one. Keep designing so I can keep sewing. Hello Bev,
Thank you for your comment and kind words! I have been designing more and more collections. They are being presented to the stores regularly. I wish I could say the stores buy everything I design but that is never the case. Keep an eye on the blog as I will make future fabric release announcements here.
Thanks again,
Diane
