I love painting. It is so calming. I want to paint a full painting with multiple colors and a nice composition. Watercolor or oils - it doesn't matter. I just need to get that paintbrush in my hand! But fear keeps getting the way. Fear of making a mistake. Fear of not meeting my expectations.
I have been reading interviews with other artists. They all say the same thing, when they let go of fear and expectation, they create their best work. I need to practice this. Just sit down with some paints, and paint.
