product launch: photo albums and journals

Another project has launched last month with another new client!
This time photo albums and journals!

I love the hot pink ribbon.

you can not tell from the photo but the paper around the edge is silver - nice touch I think!

drum roll please....

I will have a booth at SURTEX!  I finally decided to do it! After years of clients and friends in the industry encouraging me to participate, I finally decided this is the year! SURTEX is the tradeshow to sell and license art and design. It is the ideal show for me and this year seems like the right time to just DO IT! Over the next few months, I will be designing my booth, creating new collections and designing marketing material.  All the while, creating artwork for my NY rep and reaching out to current clients to grow my business with them.  It is going to be a crazy couple of months! But I am ready!

new year - new designs with Society6

New year, new designs.  I cleaned up my Society6 page on January 1. I deleted most of the designs.  "Why?", you ask?  I like the idea of limited edition. So, this year I will be doing the same.  Every few months I will be deleting designs.  I will be adding new designs every 2 weeks (more often when there is a special request).  So, if you like a design..buy it now:)

Yes, I take special requests! Do you see a design on my website or on another one of my designs (scrapbook paper for example) and you want it on an iphone or laptop cover? Email me what you want and I will see what I can do.  The three designs below were requests I had at CHA. All three of these are also on scrapbook paper!  What do you think?

GCD Studio at CHA

I am back form CHA! A whirlwind of a weekend! I am exhausted and full of inspiration!! I met a few fans:), some fantastic editors and a ton of wonderful friendly customers! I was so proud to be working in this booth! The theme of the booth was "Tea Party". Tea cups and plates, candies and flowers decorated the booth!  I kept thinking in my head, "I'm late, I'm late, for a very important date!"

My Nostalgia wall!
I love getting to the show and seeing what the scrapbook and card
designers have created with my designs! They are so creative!

Charleston - This collection seems to get the most attention.
People loved the pink with the warm grey and yellow.

I am sorry I haven't given credit to all the scrapbook and card designs. If you have designed any of the images above please let me know and I will give you credit.

Nostalgia fabric collection available at Joann's!

It has been a little while since my last fabric collection. I changed manufacturers and have been busy designing new collections for David Textiles.  The new team is fantastic and I am really excited to tell you that now my fabric is available at Joann's! AND for all my Australian fans (and there seems to many) you can find my fabric at Spotlight! I am so excited about this!!

So, let me introduce you to my first collection with David Textiles called "Nostalgia"! Sounds a bit familiar, right?  A few weeks ago I told you about a scrapbooking collection that launched with GCD Studio under the same name.  Some of the patterns are the same and it is really cool to see them translate on two different materials - paper and fabric.  I believe with scrapbooking paper, your photos should stand out more than the paper.  So, I made the papers a bit softer.  With the fabric however, I wanted them to be bold and bright.  I am really excited about this and happy tell you all of this in stores NOW!

introducing...charleston

Hello, Happy 2013...I know, we are already one week into January and I am just now wishing you a happy new year.  I am a bit behind...so lets catch up!

My third collection has launched with GCD Studios!  Introducing Charleston!  My favorite collection - I love the roaring 20's.  The hair, the dresses, the dances and even the slang-  this collection is the "cat's meow" ;)  This collection also includes embellishments!  Scroll down to see the embellishments-they were really fun to design!

Friday I leave for CHA in Anaheim!  Yeap, I will be working at the GCD booth Saturday - Monday! Please come by and find me.  I would love to hear what you think of my designs, and what is on your wish list for future collections!

Come back Thursday and I will be sharing images of my new fabric collection! Yeap, you read it right!   I am working with a new manufacturer that I love and my first collection launches very soon!
