sweetheart

I have been trying to work ahead a bit so that I can take next week off...my sweet heart is coming home today for 3 weeks!  (insert image of me jumping up and down with excitement here.)  I can't believe it has been over 3 months!  (What am I saying, it feels like it has been a year!)  Anyhow, need to get back to preparing the house for his arrival!  Champagne and flowers are ready...now onto making one of his favorite meals!  See you in a week!

So much I want to share with you.  So many exciting things happening this month.  I promise to tell you everything in 3 weeks!

For now, here is what is blooming in the studio these days. 

caught in a storm

Saturday night I went out with a friend of mine to a "kert".  Kert is Hungarian for garden.  During the summer, these garden bars pop up in the courtyards of old abandoned buildings.  Below are the photos of the one we went to on Saturday, called Fogas Kert.  Halfway through a glass of wine, a huge thunderstorm came.  Evi and I were at a table that was under the scaffolding.  We barely stayed dry.  I took some photos before and during the storm  They had some funky lights so the photos turned out really cool!  (No photo editing was done to these!)
